Where is a woman’s voice? Who gets heard when a woman speaks? Or does the voice merely echo. And Echo’s voice? In the myth she is silenced by a goddess’s jealousy. Echo is rendered invisible and her voice can only repeat the voice of another. Here, Echo can find some options.

This is conceived as a collaborative archive of female vocal performance and expression. We might think of this site as a ‘sound installation.’ Here, in this cave, we speak and listen. We can also decorate the cave walls with pictures and flickering images.
